Guest filters in your Booking Engine

Guests can now specify the number of adults and children when searching your site.

Accommodations that meet those criteria will appear in their results at the top, other results will be shown after the page break — based on the new Max Adults and Max Children values.

If none of your rooms allow children, the Children filter won’t appear at all. Guests will only see options for adult travelers.

If a particular room doesn’t allow children, the child stepper will be hidden during the booking process.

You can now categorize your guests into a Market Segment

We’ve introduced a new Market Segment feature that empowers you to categorize reservations by guest/traveler type, enhancing revenue tracking, forecasting, and targeted marketing. Previously, it was more difficult to gain insights into demand trends and financial performance without structured segmentation. Now, you can directly assign market segments to rate plans and reservations, ensuring accurate classification that is in line with USALI standards.

This improvement enables you to better analyze guest trends, optimize pricing strategies, and tailor marketing efforts for enhanced revenue management. With Market Segments, you can make smarter, data-driven decisions, streamline financial reporting, and maximize revenue potential—all from one unified platform.

Finding what you need in Cloudbeds Payments just got easier. We’ve moved key sections – Payouts, Disputes, Capital, and Monthly Statements – out of the old “Reports” bucket and into a streamlined main menu:

New Self-Check-Out in the Guest Portal

There is now a brand-new Check-Out Flow in the Cloudbeds Guest Experience platform! Guests can now conveniently review their folio, pay their outstanding balance, and check out on their own – all from the Guest Portal. This feature can be activated in the Guest Portal settings and will automatically appear to guests on their departure day.
Not only does this enhance the guest experience and streamline front desk operations, but it also paves the way for our upcoming Self-Service Kiosk mode!
